ADVANCED FIRST AID
This course is designed for members of SJAM who have prior first aid knowledge and skills, to offer refresher and impart Advanced First Aid knowledge and skills for providing competent help and care to the ill and injured in the case of emergency.
Eligible Candidate:
- Successfully complete Basic First Aid (Re-certification) or Basic First Aid (Revalidation)
- First Aid Certificate shall be valid for at least six months
- Aged 16 years and above
- Must be Member of SJAM

The course lasts four days (8 hours x 4) and takes place in the classroom.

Assessment
Continuous assessment by the trainer, oral, instrumental and written exam.
Certificate
Successful candidates receive a certificate of competency issue by St. John Ambulans Malaysia, valid for three years.
