FIRST AID / CPR AWARENESS

This is an awareness program is to educate layperson, family members & community on how to call for EMS (Ambulance service) during an emergency and understand the importance of CPR and usage of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to increase survival rate of the patient. Foreign Body Airway Obstruction is a common cause of sudden death. This will be taught on how to dislodge choking object by using Heimlich maneuver.  Apart from theoretical discussion, participants would get a clearer understanding of the topics covered through the demonstration and short practical conducted. This Awareness program can be conducted in conjunctions with company’s safety campaign and safety week.

How long is a First Aid / CPR Awareness?

The course lasts 4 hours and takes place in the classroom. 

Certificate

Successful candidates receive a certificate issue by St. John Ambulans Malaysia, valid for three years.
